Eminem an Joyner Lucas Have Beef?

Eminem was originally supposed to be on Joyner Lucas' 'ISIS'.

Over a year ago, Joyner Lucas dropped his hit 'ISIS' collaboration with Logic which also marked the end of the beef between the two rappers, which started a few years ago. Now the Worcester rapper has revealed a fun fact which states that Eminem was the first choice for the collaboration instead of Logic. He revealed that Eminem was unable to find time for the collab because at the time he was working on 'Music To Be Murdered By" which was released earlier this year.

Joyner Lucas fueled excitement for his "ISIS" song by promising a surprise feature in May of 2019, while he was in the midst of the piecemeal release of his ADHD album. ADHD opened at No. 10 on the US Billboard 200 with 39,000 album-equivalent units, including 10,000 album sales in its first week. It is Lucas' first top-10 album in the United States.

Given that Em and Joyner had just recently worked on "Lucky You," the two lyricists' first official duet. Many people anticipated Eminem to repay the favor, and suspicions about his "ISIS" connection arose quickly. Upon the song's release, however, the guest was revealed to be Joyner's old competitor Logic, thereby putting an end to their feud.

Joyner Lucas and Logic had been feuding for a long time before the release of "ISIS." As a result, the song concludes the feud between the two rappers. During their 2022 Tech N9ne duet, "Sriracha," Lucas told Billboard magazine that his friendship with Logic began to sour.

While many people have praised Joyner and Logic's musical connection — the tune just received a platinum plaque, for example — it appears that the ADHD rapper had other ideas. In reality, he just revealed on his Facebook page that Eminem was supposed to feature on "ISIS," describing the scenario as follows:

"Fun fact….
Eminem was originally supposed to be on ISIS. I waited a month for his verse but at the time he was finishing his album and couldn't give me a date. So After I made amends with Logic he invited me over to his house and I played it for him. He went crazy and knocked it out on the spot. That record will be 2xs platinum next year. Lol crazy right?," wrote Joyner Lucas on his Facebook.

The song "Isis" went on to reach No. 59 on the Billboard Hot 100. More than 60 million people have watched the militaristic video that goes along with the song. Logic said during his guest verse that Royce Da 5'9′′ was instrumental in bringing his feud with Joyner to an end.

"I just think he's a corny guy," Joyner said. "When Tech N9ne initially gave me the record, I was excited about Logic being on there, but after that much time went by and the verse he gave was so disrespectful, I felt like he gave Tech that verse on a count of me being on the record. I felt he was upset I was on the record and gave a wack verse. I think if that was just a Tech N9ne and Logic record, he would've never did that. That definitely rubbed me the wrong way. I took that a little bit personal because that was real disrespectful."

Though it would have been fascinating to see a post-Kamikaze Em working on "ISIS," it's reasonable to conclude that Logic did so in his place. Not to mention the fact that the partnership put an end to a long-running dispute between the two parties, which included both artists hurling bullets across numerous tracks. Joyner and Logic were able to go ahead as colleagues and friends because of the diplomatic skills of one Royce Da 5'9″.
