It is very rare that you write a review before you have the holiday, but it is very rare that you have the pleasure of dealing with people like Lizzie. Throughout the booking process that started in November until taking the holiday that will start in July, our process has been handled promptly, proffesionally and with grace. We have had to ask for things to be altered to meet our groups requirements, which was no trouble and then had them changed back, as our plans changed, also handled with promptness and a "no worries" attitude.
I have worked in customer service for over 40 years, and so often people who go above and beyond are not recognised for their contribution to a great experience.
I would like to recgonise Lizzie for making our holiday planning just as enjoyable as I hope our holiday will be.

"Fantastic family holiday house"
We holidayed as two families at Avalon for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's an ideal place to have as a base while enjoying all the wonderful natural beauty in the region. The house has so many great options to keep the kids and adults entertained- swimming pool, pool table, table football - and beautiful views of the nearby rainforested hills from the front balcony. Plenty of room to spread out so everyone can have privacy too when needed! The house has everything you need to cater at home and is in good condition. We had a great stay here and would fully recommend.

Zanzoo Retreat, Redlynch Valley - July 2020
"The kids had a blast"
We enjoyed our stay at Zanzoo so much! Our group of 12 had plenty of space, both inside and out. The kids had a blast in the pool and on the tennis court and the adults loved the Nespresso machine and the roomy bedrooms. We loved the huge kitchen, having breakfast on the balcony upstairs, the abundance of bathrooms and the beautiful grounds (including deck overlooking the creek). The property is just a few kms from Crystal Cascades, shops and an adorable cafe / restaurant. Very easy to book and pay. We hope to visit again next time we're in North Qld!

"Great base to explore Cairns..."
Great base to explore Cairns with everything only 10/20 minutes away ( walk ), The house was clean and well laid out with everything you could want or need. Col is an amazing host who is always available if you need help or recommendation. He accomodated us when we requested to remove most decorations as we were travelling with a toddler. Our dogs enjoyed the backyard. And also excellent customer service from Lizzie!

"The outdoor shower was paradise"
We just spent a week at "A Touch of Bali" and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Great base to explore Cairns with everything only 10 minutes away. The house was luxurious and well laid out with everything you could want or need. The outdoor shower was paradise, as were the beautiful tropical gardens, fabulous outdoor areas and inground pool. Jenny & Ron are great hosts and very helpful.

"Huge and very modern."
Mahi mahi is a lovely holiday house! Huge and very modern! We absolutely loved our stay here with extended family and it was big enough no one was in anyone's way! Was great for kids too with everything fully fenced made for a stress free holiday! Will definitely be back!

"The house is beautiful...The location is perfect"
17 of us stayed here for my mum's 80th Birthday ranging in age from 4 weeks to 80. The house is beautiful, the grounds just lovely, and any request or maintenance issue was handled promptly from friendly and helpful people. No request was too hard. They went out of their way to have everything perfect for our babies, toddlers and limpers. The location is just perfect, only a few minutes drive to Crystal cascades (3km) where we lay down in waterfall fed crystal clear pools for hours. The shopping centre was only a few minutes drive but really we wanted to just stay at Zanzoo and chill. Perfect for a group as there are so many different spots to get away from each other or hang together.

"We loved everything about this property !"
We have just got back from two fantastic weeks in cairns with our adult children, partners and granddaughter so 8 adults and 1 child and a touch of Bali was just amazing . We loved everything about this property ! The decor , gardens , kitchen (with everything you could think off) and outdoor area aloud us to relax and enjoy each other's company but plenty of room to sneak of and take a break . Jen and Ron were fantastic with making sure we had everything we needed at our fingers tips . I would highly recommend this property to any one . Big thumbs up and a big thank you to Jen and Ron .

"fishing off the pontoon"
The house is beautifully decorated with an open plan. Great for relaxing by the pool or fishing off the pontoon. Plenty of bedrooms for family gatherings or a group of friends holiday.
Huge theatre room if you want to spend a relaxing afternoon watching movies. Absolutely recommend....it won't disappoint.
